Timothy W. Gill was born October 25, 1961 in Longview, Texas. He received the Holy Ghost at the age of seven and began his ministry at the age of fourteen. After high school graduation he attended Apostolic Bible College in Memphis, Tennessee, where he met the former Miss Faythe Walls of Medora, Indiana. They married in 1982.
Since their marriage, the Gills have been involved full time in the ministry. They have worked in several capacities, including full time evangelism, serving as Youth Pastor, Assistant Pastor, and have been pastoring for the last several years.
Pastor Gill was ordained in 1982. He is an active member of the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ, and has served in several offices. He will celebrate his thirty-fourth year in the ministry this year.
Faythe Gill is actively involved in women's ministry, music and administration. She currently serves as the national coordinator for the ALJC WE Pray First program.
The Lord has blessed the Gill family with two beautiful children, Whitney Lynnea' and Timothy David.
Whitney enjoys the ministry of sign language and drama, and works in sound and media presentations. Bro. and Sis. Gill were delighted to see the Lord fill Whitney with the Holy Ghost at age seven. Whitney recently graduated from Medora High School as class valedictorian and will be attending college at IUPUI in Indianapolis in the fall of 2007.
Timothy David is the family's comic relief. His love for God is evident in his worship. He will begin third grade in the fall.
The Gill family is delighted to be in Medora and part of the Medora Pentecostal Church. This church - so rich in Pentecostal heritage - has stood as a landmark for many generations. Our mission is to preserve the heritage of the past and embrace the vision of the future.
